A New Tab for Red Wagon Kids
I am switching gears here! I have always loved photography and hoped some day to get more into it. So now I have done some research and have received some tips from other photographers. The biggest tip I have received is to get a 50mm lens and start practicing. Well this is it! I have started practicing and am hoping to do pictures for others in the future. I am mostly doing this for myself and my enjoyment of photography as I want to capture daily life with my kids in better quality than I have in the past.
I hope to attend some workshops in the future to expand my knowledge and at the same share it with you at an affordable price for families. I have a big family myself and I know how hard it is to justify spending so much on family pictures that are quickly outdated as the kids grow and babies come.
I will still also be doing a limited amount of sewing. As of right now it will remain the same. As my photography grows, you will see my boutique shop slowing down, but I will still add fun Limited Editions and/or One of a Kinds

Custom Order ~ Chidren's Boutique Clothing Minnesota
I had a lot of fun sewing this custom order for a gal right
locally here in Minnesota.
One of the {funnest} parts
about it was two of her girls were the same age/size and two of my girls
and I was able to take some fun pictures before I mailed them.
The other FUN part
is that she was so completely excited about every step of the design/sewing process.
That just makes my {job} so worth it!
She is also a photographer and is going to be using these outfits in a
family picture.

It will be fun to see how she coordinates herself, her husband and her son
to match her three girls. The third girl will be wearing my Spring Halter Dress.

She had these two dresses made to coordinate with it!

Spring Line...
A one piece romper for my spring line. Okay I will admit that I misjudged the size on my baby girl so this is a little small on her. :( I wanted this for her for this summer. I think that I may be out of luck. Baby gift maybe? You will see this next week in my shop!
...Oh and I just mailed a few pieces to be photographed...in Arizona, much warmer climate than where I am! :) Can't wait to see them!

Mind of a 4 Year Old
Here he is! My 4 year old...
...my daily challenge!
I once said he is the life of the party a few years back...
he is living up to his rep!
He gets up in the morning and does not stop....
until he gets tucked in at night.
Full of fun, excitment, wonder, laughing...
teasing, pestering, razzing, badgering...
warmth, compassion, and love.
All of it summed up in one kid...depending on just how he decides he wants to be!
Sunday mornings Dad and the older kids leave to church earlier for Sunday School and Mom and the youngers go in an hour later for the regular morning service. Well alot of times Grandma and Grandpa, who live a half a mile through the woods {...over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go...!} will stop and pick the rest of us up for a ride in to church. Well as we are driving along last weekend, 4 year old and Grandma are having a conversation. {Grandma who he loves so very much and who I'm sure returns the sentiment equally!}...my daily challenge!

"Look at all those clouds in the sky!" "There are alot of clouds in the sky aren't there grandma"
"Yes there is!"
"Holy! Look at that mongo one!" ...{pause}... "You can't go swimming til it's 80" "We have a swimming pool by our barn." "Do you know where our barn is Grandma?"
"Yes I do"
"It is way up at the top of our hill." ...{pause}... "Grandma"
"What?"
"Your teeth are right next to your lips."
And so on the entire 15 minute drive to church. Gotta love 4 year olds!
